Anonymous asked: Am I being naive? How can so called fans apply for tickets and then try to sell them to the highest bidder for ever increasing amounts? Really hard NOT to buy them if you are struggling to get a ticket but that is what everyone should do - the only way to prevent such blatant extortion is NOT to allow them to succeed and no I do NOT think of it as free enterprise!

Wow. Okay, clearly something has inspired this one, Anon, but I’ll give my opinion.

This sucks. It will always happen because there are people who are motivated by money. Morally, it’s not right. I think if you have surplus tickets for whatever reason you should only be able to sell them at the original price and not profit because essentially you were lucky enough to get tickets/get more tickets than others. I also understand how much people want tickets and will pay to get them, which is awful because you want to see your favourite band and will pay some utter bellend to get them, because if you don’t, someone else will; which is a larger issue.

I hope most of you managed to get your desired European tickets today and I’m hoping they’ll announce World Tour tickets for the rest of you. :)
